Dear Edventures community,

October marked a strong step forward for us at Edventures. We expanded our team, onboarded Chetana as our new AI Engineer, and began to push harder on our India go-to-market strategy, to get our platform out to more users. I also arrived in India to drive those efforts on the ground and we wrapped up final interviews for our next Product Designer. Alongside that, we kicked off major product upgrades that will power the next phase of our platform.

You’ll also notice this update is landing at the end of the month we’re recapping, not weeks later as before. That’s a deliberate shift to make these updates more relevant and up-to-date.

If you’re just getting to know us, here’s a recap

Whether it’s your first or hundredth newsletter, I’m so happy you’re reading this newsletter.

Edventures is an edtech and future-of-work startup based in Sweden, with a fully remote and international team, currently spanning two continents. We’re building a conversational AI that delivers personalised coaching and learning for every budding entrepreneur, helping first-time founders turn their ideas into real, viable businesses through guidance tailored to their specific needs and challenges.

You’re receiving this update because we’ve been in touch in the past weeks, months, or years, and because your work, interests, or experience align with our mission to democratise entrepreneurship education and support. We’re glad to have you following our journey towards becoming a global leader in entrepreneurship learning and support.

Read on to discover this month’s latest updates and milestones. If you’re in a rush, below are the highlights you need to know about from this month.

TL;DR

  • Welcomed Chetana as our new AI Engineer, already working on system prompts, infra, and exploring EU-funded HPC resources.

  • I arrived in India on 9 October to drive our B2C GTM strategy and build partnerships on the ground with entrepreneurship organisations, like incubators, entrepreneurship cells, and entrepreneurship programmes.

  • Launched our India GTM outreach, so far connected with 100+ organisation representatives and engaging in 15+ partnership discussions.

  • Focusing on distribution partnerships with entrepreneurship organisations to reach all rejected and underserved entrepreneurs — the 95% of entrepreneurs who never get access to support.

  • In final stages of hiring a Product Designer.

  • Began a major rebuild to enable separated and multiple chats per business project and add a note-taking feature for better organisation.

  • Rolled out some front and back end improvements, including a scroll-to-bottom button for better navigation, and a safer internal dev environment.

đź’ś Team News

We’re excited to welcome Chetana to our team as our new AI Engineer! She began onboarding in early October, and officially joined full-time after wrapping up her role at Singapore General Hospital, right before Diwali. Despite all the celebrations, she was still able to squeeze some work into her calendar between the week-long celebration, and has hit the ground running, diving into infrastructure, system prompts, and early planning for leveraging EU-funded HPC resources.

I landed in India on October 9 for a 1.5–2 month stay focused on driving our GTM strategy after our pivot to B2C. Our focus now centers around connecting with entrepreneurs through various organisations, like incubators, entrepreneurship programmes, accelerators, community groups, as well as hackathons and competitions. Being on the ground makes it easier to build relationships, grow our network, and catch the spontaneous opportunities that don’t happen over Zoom.

I’ve been spending the past few weeks in Goa at a friend’s place and will be relocating to Bangalore in November. If you’re based in Bangalore and want to meet up, just hit reply — would love to connect in person!

We’re also in the final stages of hiring a Product Designer, and we hope to have this secured before the end of the month.

⚙️ Product Evolution

Aadarsh has been busy on both the frontend and backend this month, rolling out several updates and improvements. We now have a “scroll to bottom” button in chat for easier navigation, and he’s also set up a safer internal dev environment to support more stable feature development and testing.

Meanwhile, Chetana has been making fast progress on her side — fine-tuning system prompts, refining our infrastructure, and exploring how our agents interact with each other. A major highlight has been restarting our plan to leverage EU-funded HPC resources, which were offered to us earlier this year but had been on pause. With Chetana focused on this, we’re now in a position to design a concrete roadmap for using these resources to train and deploy our own model more efficiently.

The biggest project in motion right now is a backend rebuild to support multiple chats per business project and introduce a note-taking feature. It’s a complex effort, since our legacy structure needs a lot of rework, but both Aadarsh and Chetana are driving it forward. Once complete, it’ll give users better organisation — enabling separate conversations for each project and easier reference across sessions.

🌍 Community

In October, we launched our go-to-market efforts in India, focusing on organisations that support entrepreneurs — from incubators and university entrepreneurship cells to accelerators and community programmes.

Our initial outreach has already connected us with 100+ organisation representatives, with 15+ now in active partnership discussions. These distribution partnerships allow us to reach rejected and underserved entrepreneurs — the founders who don’t get into formal programmes but still need guidance and tools to move forward.

It’s a win-win model: organisations can offer Edventures as a free resource to their networks, building goodwill and ongoing engagement, while we expand our reach to the 95% of entrepreneurs who typically don’t get access to structured support. We’ve also added a referral bonus system, giving partner organisations unique links and incentives when entrepreneurs sign up for paid plans.

The early response has been very positive, and we expect to sign our first partnerships in November as these discussions mature.

đź’° Funding Opportunities

No major funding updates this month. Some previous applications didn’t progress, while others are pending. We’re staying focused on traction and partnerships as the core validation for our upcoming fundraising efforts.

👀 What’s in the pipeline for next month?

  • Main focus to connect with more organisations, decision-makers and secure distribution partnerships

  • Keep improving the platform and deliver on our product roadmap at a faster pace.

  • Making sure Chetana grows comfortable in her role

  • Hopefully onboarding our new Product Designer
